After Abigail

People in Tara’s life keep leaving. First her husband ran off with their professional organizer, now a famous minimalist-lifestyle guru. Then her beloved only child Abigail moved across country for college. As she struggles to carve a path forward, Tara clings to one last hope: seeing the offbeat musical she created come to life onstage. Enlisting the help of a charismatic young actor, she hatches a questionable scheme to get her musical produced. But can they pull it off?

After Abigail chronicles Tara’s alternately hilarious and poignant efforts to cope with her newly solo life. Along the way, she discovers unexpected relationships, surprising strength, and clues to who she truly wants to be.
